Meditation Workshop

Meditation can be made easy and it is accessible to EVERYBODY. Like learning any new skill sometimes we need guidance and encouragement to find our way there. That is the purpose of this meditation workshop. 
There are different types of meditation but they are really just different pathways to the same place. My goal is to simplify everything so that you can go away with an understanding of the basics and begin a successful, enjoyable practice that will make a real difference to your life. 
We will start small and build from there. During the workshop you will try some simple short guided meditations with time in between for questions and discussion. 

Meditation has been in my life for many years, I have tried and tested many different types. I have found my way through the common difficulties we all face when trying to come inwards and learn to master our inner world of thoughts and feelings. Yin Yoga is gaining more and more popularity and its easy to see why. Our world and our lives are busy and at times stressful, always somewhere to be, something to do or a distraction to grab our attention (smart phones I am looking at you!) Yin Yoga provides us with a space to stop, to be still, to rest and to release both physically and mentally. 

Yin is gentle on the body but has powerful benefits! It is restorative and nourishing whilst deeply stretching the tissues and its available to anyone. 

Join us for this Yin Yoga workshop at The Yoga Factory for a chance to experience and understand this practice. During this workshop we look into various aspects of the practice from the postures, breath work and meditation to deep relaxation. All of which can help common cncerns like, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia or just a tight body!
